Lura Consulting was formed in the 1970's by Sally Leppard. Our initial focus, to productively engage people in public sector decision-making, remains our core business today. We have successfully managed over one thousand public sector projects that engage citizens, agency stakeholders and members of the public in the pursuit of sustainable communities.

We have built a team of expert professionals in the design, management and facilitation of meaningful, multi-party planning processes and action plan implementation. Lura's expert team, headed up by David Dilks, Lura's President, comprises senior specialists in the areas of environmental planning, energy conservation, ecological restoration, waste management, citizen participation, facilitation and business services.

Collaborative processes require, by their very nature, a significant amount of organizational and technical support. As such, Lura's work is supported by in-depth scientific and technical research, strategic planning, organizational design, communications and community-based social marketing programs.
